Lucky′s Story

My name is Lucky.

I was just a hungry dog wandering through a village, looking for scraps and water. My paws hurt, my belly ached, and most people chased me away.

Then she saw me—a kind lady with soft eyes. She gave me food, water, and let me rest under her tree. For the first time, I felt safe.

But the village had problems. People weren’t happy about dogs like me. The lady tried to protect me, but she was scared too.

That’s when 2nd Chance Dogs came. I didn’t know them, but I trusted their calm voices.

Now I have food, a warm place to sleep, and people who care.

They still call me Lucky. And now, I finally believe I am.

Character & Temperament

I get along with everyone—dogs, cats, even the tiny humans with grabby hands (they're fun!). I’m gentle, calm, and love a good cuddle. I don’t start trouble, I just want peace, playtime, and a soft place to nap. Whether it’s a bouncy pup or a sleepy kitten, I’m happy to share my space and my heart.

Ideal Home for Lucky

I’m looking for a forever home where I can feel safe, loved, and part of the family. I get along great with other dogs, I’m friendly with cats, and I’m super gentle with kids. I just want to be near my people—whether we’re going for walks, playing in the garden, or snuggling on the sofa.

Buuut… I should tell you a little secret: I’m kind of an escape artist. Yep. If your fence has a weak spot, I’ll find it. Not because I want to run away—I just get curious and like to explore! So I’ll need a secure home and garden, with strong fencing to keep me safe.

If you’ve got love to give and a safe spot for me to call my own, I’ll be the most loyal, gentle, tail-wagging best friend you could ever ask for.
