Apollo′s Story

I was rescued from the middle of nowhere along with my 2 siblings and mum and taken to a shelter. After some time there, our rescuer had to find us a new home because the shelter was closing down. That’s when 2nd Chance Dogs stepped in, opening their hearts and home to us.

Character & Temperament

I am a shy pup who needs plenty of time and patience to trust people, but once I do, my heart is yours forever. I might take a little while to feel safe, but I promise I'm worth the wait! I get along great with other dogs and feel most comfortable when I have a playful, confident friend by my side. Running, playing, and goofing around with my doggy pals is when I’m truly in my element! If you’re gentle, kind, and willing to let me open up at my own pace, you’ll get to see the sweet, loving, and playful side of me that’s just waiting to shine.

Ideal Home for Apollo

My ideal home is one with patient, understanding humans who will give me the time I need to trust and feel safe. A calm and loving environment would help me grow in confidence, and having another friendly, playful dog around would make me feel even more at home! I love being around other dogs—they bring out my fun and silly side. I’d do best with a family that lets me come out of my shell at my own pace, without rushing me, but is ready to shower me with love when I’m ready. If you have a gentle heart, a little patience, and maybe a doggy friend for me, I just know we’ll be the perfect match!
